Johnson and Johnson Consumer commissioned us to launch a B2B ad campaign that educated on biofilm, the harmful microscopic build-up of bacteria that forms when proper oral health measures are not taken. The illustrated biofilm characters are designed to bring a playful and memorable feel to the serious topic of dental biofilm and become an ownable and recognizable subject for Johnson & Johnson Oral Health products. These characters were also spun-off into trade show costumes, plush toys, laminated window-clings and children’s toothbrushes.
My core responsibilities were to concept and develop the campaign and personally create all of the custom biofilm illustration seen here.
