ILARIS® US/Global Initiatives
ILARIS (canakinumab) is a Novartis Pharmaceuticals drug, indicated to treat Active Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA) and Cryopyrin-Associated Periodic Syndromes (CAPS).
As assigned Art Supervisor on the account, my core responsibilities were to ideate, create and layout print and digital materials to final production. Projects included sales aids, dosing cards, flash cards, brochures, sales meeting/convention signage, out-of-home materials and emails.
Periodic Fever Syndromes (PFS) and Adult-Onset Still's Disease (AOSD) Global Branding Campaigns
Our global client asked us to create a pediatric and adult campaign for PFS and AOSD marketing initiatives. Our positioning was to convey the need for continual control of the underlying disease activity in PFS to provide ongoing disease suppression by controlling the disease activity behind the symptoms. We focused on a "life continuum" for ILARIS, representing the controlled disease as the quality of life for patients’ and families, enabling them to return to basic, everyday activities. The "Iife continuum" essentially represents the regaining of control over their lives. For the AOSD campaign, our "life continuum took shape as an energy burst, representing the re-entry into normal life, free from the symptoms of Still's Disease.
My core responsibilities were to ideate core creative with internal creative teams and bring the chosen concepts through to final production. This required the hiring/overseeing of storyboard illustrators, model talent and on-location art supervision of photoshoot and post-production deliverables.
